What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Day Promotional Intern position at Forward Madison FC?
Position Overview: The Promotional Game Night Staff will be positive, upbeat, and committed to promoting Forward Madison FC in the Madison community. This is a part-time seasonal position to support Forward Madison FC with gameday needs such as coordination and execution of all in-stadium games, promotions, and entertainment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead aspects of set-up, execution, and breakdown of gameday giveaways and theme night activations.
- Assist in executing all pregame and halftime fan activations and live shots, including the national anthem, contestants, recognitions, etc.
- Assist with the setup of in-stadium signage and gameday programs.
- Assist with stat tracking and match recap writing.
- Assist with the operation of the live cam during Forward Madison FC matches.
- Coordinate with press box staff to obtain necessary live shots for match activities such as player walkouts, national anthem, and contests.
- Assist in pressbox match-day operations including videoboard execution and audio/video equipment setup and teardown.
- Assist with other match-day setup and teardown activities as needed.
- Complete trainings and certifications as required for the role by USL League One.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Passionate about sports and supporting Forward Madison.
- Previous marketing/promotional/event/street team experience preferred.
- Able to interact with guests and fans in an energetic, enthusiastic, and friendly manner.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work all matches during the 2025 Forward season, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds unassisted.
