Summary
As a Consultant at Forward Merch, you will play a pivotal role in advising press operator effective screen printing strategies and solutions. This includes ensuring compliance with quality standards, and coordinating with other departments to achieve seamless printing. The role requires technical knowledge of screen printing equipment and processes, and the ability to effectively manage press teams. This position is essential to enhancing our clients' brand visibility and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the entire printing process from start to finish.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Supervise and trains press operators
- Supervises the pre-press dept.
- Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs.
- Completes equipment set up in accordance with customer specifications and quality procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill printing project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with printing equipment
- Signs off on print approvals
- Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner
- Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and /or personal injuries
- Works as an independent press operator.
- Research and Development-Stay updated with the latest printing technologies and trends.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience with running Gauntlet 10 color press
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and recommendations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Familiarity with digital art tools and software is a plus.
