We are seeking a skilled Auto Bodyworker or Bodywork Helper with at least 2 years of experience in body prep, sanding, and bondo application. This role starts as a part-time position (Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Sunday), but if you demonstrate excellent skills and reliability, you will have the opportunity to become a full-time bodyman.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sanding and Surface Prep : Smooth and prepare vehicle surfaces for repair and painting.
- Bondo Application :Apply, shape, and sand body filler for seamless repairs.
- Panel Repair & Replacement : Assist in fixing or replacing damaged body panels.
- Masking & Prepping for Paint : Ensure vehicles are properly taped, masked, and prepped for the painter.
- Final Touches – Detail and inspect work before handing it off to the painter.
- Shop Maintenance : Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in auto body repair.
- Skills: Must be proficient in sanding, applying bondo, and prepping vehicles for paint.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift, bend, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Precision and care in bodywork repairs.
- Team Player: Willing to collaborate with painters and other techs for efficient workflow.
- Part-Time Schedule (Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Sunday)
