Forward Pass Automotive is looking for an experienced Mechanic/Tow Truck Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a clean driving record, tow truck driving experience, and the flexibility to work weekends, after hours, and as a backup when the main driver is unavailable. This position has the potential to become full-time based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a tow truck for vehicle transportation and recovery.
- Perform light mechanical repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Respond promptly to after-hours and weekend towing calls.
- Fill in as a tow truck driver when the main driver is unavailable.
- Maintain the tow truck to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively.
- Accurately document all towing activities and maintain records.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a tow truck driver.
- Basic mechanical knowledge (preferred but not required).
- Availability for weekends, after-hours work, and on-call assignments.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Positive attitude and a customer-first mindset.
