What are the responsibilities and job description for the FSET Outreach Specialist position at Forward Service?
SUMMARY:
The FSET Outreach Specialist is primarily responsible for providing coordinated outreach to individuals who qualify for FSET services. This position will serve as the first point of contact for any questions regarding our FSET program. Responsibilities also include; promoting program enrollment, developing new community relationships, contacting referred customers, organizing recruitment events, promoting program services to prospective customers, and facilitating offsite orientations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Develop recruitment campaigns and strategies
▪ Contact customers on the FSET referral list
▪ Facilitate offsite orientations and program information sessions
▪ Act as a liaison between FSC and new/existing community partners
▪ Develop referral processes with local community partners
▪ Receive and correctly forward correspondence from program participants
▪ Promote FSET during partner agency meetings
▪ Assist with special outreach and recruitment projects
▪ Document customer outreach and contact
▪ Scan FSET documents into the electronic case file
▪ Other duties may be assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

▪ Strong sales skills and/or training
▪ Strong written communication skills in both data entry and document preparation and creation.
▪ Ability to effectively present information to small and large groups.
▪ Willingness and ability to make customer/client cold calls and drop-ins.
▪ Capable of working as a team member/contributor.
▪ Strong keyboarding skills; ability to type 40 wpm .
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office including: Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
▪ Ability to maintain a professional attitude and network effectively.
▪ Must maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by our insurance carrier.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate degree or equivalent and 2 – 3 years related customer service, staffing industry, job development, sales, or human resources experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree within a business concentration is preferred.
Starting compensation - $22.64/hour with potential for additional based on experience
