Position: Director, Process Excellence
Job Description:
As a Director, Process Excellence, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of product development projects, from initial concept through to final delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of product development projects
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and budgets
- Ensure that projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Project Management)
- Proven experience as a Product Development Project Manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana)
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus
