Job Description:
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within company facilities. This role ensures that all areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces, are properly cleaned and maintained according to company standards.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and high-touch areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste materials.
- Restock cleaning supplies and request replacements as needed.
- Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Respond to spills, accidents, and emergency cleaning requests promptly.
- Follow safety guidelines and comply with company cleaning procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
