Position: Material Handler
Available Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Process all aspects of materials using warehouse inventory software
- Label and ship orders according to established procedures for each customer
- Accurately pick and weigh all shipments
- Inspect freight and follow appropriate reporting procedures
- Assist with inventory and cycle counts
- Rotate and re-stock shelves according to inventory procedures
- Verify all inbound and outbound materials
- Provide prompt and accurate customer service
- Arrange and maintain filing and recording systems
- Document monthly activities for period end reporting
- Safely load and unload trailers by utilizing equipment such as hand trucks/pallet jacks and forklifts
- Shrink wrap freight pallets
- Maintain a clean and save working environment
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience of general warehouse knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Warehouse Oracle Database Experience is a plus
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managers
