Position: Security Guard
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Logging inbound and outbound trucks
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Report an facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Monitor and control access to the facility by checking Identification and credentials of personnel and visitors
- Operate gate and surveillance systems to ensure entry and exit
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility to detect and report any security concerns or breaches
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and access control in alignment with CTPAT guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team members and report and irregularities to management
- Assist with emergency response as needed and follow all safety protocols
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing the English language for the purpose of public interaction and report writing
- Familiarity with CTPAT guidelines is required
- Must be bilingual
- Must have High School Diploma of GED
- Help in other areas as needed
