What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crane Operator position at Forza Steel Usa Llc?
Forza Steel has been a top tier manufacturer of API and mechanical grade tubing for over twenty years in Mexico and are excited to now be moving into the United States. We will be manufacturing electric resistance welded mechanical and API steel tubing in our state-of-the art facility in Brownsville, Texas.
We are in search of a Material Handler that has overhead bridge crane and forklift experience. To qualify, you must be drug-free, self-motivated, good communication skills, work well in a team-based environment, overhead bridge crane experience, sit down forklift experience.
SUMMARY:
The Material Handler is responsible for receiving and moving material throughout the facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming material
- Labeling every product and placing them accordingly
- Identifying and locating the right material
- Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of material
- Collaborating with internal departments regarding material
- Sit down forklift experience
- Overhead Bridge Crane experience
- Keeping equipment in best working condition
- Housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, kneel, squat and twist
- Must be able to stand for more than 10 hours
- Must be able to work overtime as needed to support customer requirements.
- Must be available to work unscheduled overtime.
- Ability to work well with co-workers
