We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Distribution Key Account Manager to join our team. This position is vital in identifying and building strategic distributor partnerships, fostering strong relationships, and driving significant sales growth within your assigned market channels.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively scout and evaluate potential distributor partners through strategic prospecting, LinkedIn outreach, and site visits to enhance our distribution network.
- Foster enduring partnerships with distributor partners by comprehending their needs and offering unwavering support and resources to facilitate their success and growth.
- Collaborate closely with distributor sales teams and end-user customers to identify challenges and deliver tailored product solutions that effectively resolve their issues.
- Partner with distributor channels to pinpoint common end-user challenges, align targeted sales efforts, and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Actively seek out new sales prospects by staying abreast of market trends, understanding end-user demands, and leveraging existing relationships with distributors to generate and convert sales opportunities.
- Assist distributor sales representatives in closing sales by providing necessary tools, conducting on-site support, demonstrations, and training sessions as required.
- Continuously nurture and manage relationships with distributor partners to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and alignment with company goals, consistently delivering a superior customer experience.
- Work alongside key stakeholders, including category managers and sales managers at regional, district, and national levels, to develop and execute growth strategies aimed at enhancing market penetration and increasing sales revenue.
- Record all sales activities meticulously in Salesforce, maintaining up-to-date logs of interactions, opportunities, and progress within the CRM system.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in distribution sales or key account management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
