JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Golf Managers, the Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for handling customers in-person and on the phone, utilizing our point-of-sale system on the computer, transactions with various forms of payment and other duties related to the facilities and the equipment of the Foss Park Golf Course.
Minimum Requirements
- Golf Course experience
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Strong customer service skills, in person and over the phone
The standard work week includes two weekday shifts and one weekend shift, totaling around 20 hours per week. The season runs from March-November. Work hours may vary depending on weather and daylight hours. The pay rate is $16/hour.
LOCATION: Foss Park Golf Course, 3124 Argonne Drive, North Chicago, IL 60064
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be at friendly, outgoing, and responsible. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of golf and prior experience working with the public or customer service is helpful.
SCHEDULING & PAY: This is a seasonal position starting in April and ending in November (weather dependent). Scheduling will includes various shifts Monday through Sunday. Pay is $16.00 / hour.
