Job Description:
- Familiar with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 requirements
- Reading, understanding, and updating standards/procedures
- Well organized

- Good communication skills verbally and written including all levels of the the Organization
- Computer Skills - experience in word and excel
- Experience with conducting Internal Audits / Reporting for audit schedule
- Prepare/Maintain Quality Documentation
- Experience working in quality systems preferred
- Excellent decision making / problem solving skills'
- Assist with root cause analysis including capa's
- Corrective and Preventative Actions.
- Ability to work on the floor in quality inspection as needed.
- Ensures Internal and External containment procedures are complied with.
- Becomes a trained auditor for training & auditing.
- Coordinates/completes PPAP elements for customer submissions as follows:
- IMDS
- Process FMEA (Quality & Engineering)
- Control Plans
- Measurement System Analysis
- Dimensional Results
- Material Requirements
- Process/Part Performance Test Results
- Initial Process Studies
- Qualified Laboratory Documentation
- Appearance Approval Reports
- Sample Products
- Master Samples
- Checking Aids
- Records of Compliance with OEM requirements (Engineering and Quality)
- Part Submission Warrants
- Leads Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and PPAP submission requirements for assigned customer product according to internal and customer specific requirements.
- Product/Process Nonconformance, Quality Status Updates, and other applicable
- Coordination Activities to management, and inter-departments for resolution and/or awareness.
- Supports Engineering Change Requests, Notification Systems, and additional quality responsibilities for assigned customer and supplier products.
- Adheres to all company guidelines for Emergency Management System, as applicable to the position.
- Promotes and maintains good customer and supplier relationships.
Job Requirements
- Min. Associates Degree and/or 3-4 years related experience and/or training and demonstrated knowledge of position requirements.
- Experience working in an ISO9000 quality engineering role.
- Experience in ISO/IATF16949 automotive manufacturing environment is a major plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
