Foster CM Group is looking for a recent college graduate with 1-2 years of internship experience in construction management or architectural design. We need a recent graduate that is looking to start their career in construction management and has an eagerness to learn. We are seeking a Junior Construction Contracts Administrator for our Dallas, Texas office. Y ou will train under an experienced Architectural Designer.

General Expectations

  • Lead and oversee project closeouts and provide construction support, ensuring all documentation, compliance, and completion requirements are met according to company and project standards.
  • Oversee and process design, construction, and third-party vendor contracts in a timely manner, as outlined in established processes and procedures.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for managing all aspects of project closeouts, including ensuring all final documentation is properly submitted, tracked, and archived.
  • Help lead the closeout process for projects, ensuring all documentation is completed and submitted as required.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party contracts, overseeing the review, negotiation, and execution of contracts related to construction and design services.
  • Facilitate the transfer of all final project records to stakeholders, ensuring that all compliance and regulatory requirements are met during the project closeout process.
  • Provide comprehensive construction support by assisting project teams with the coordination and organization of construction-related documents such as submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project schedules.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between construction teams, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues during the construction phase.
  • Assist in monitoring construction progress and support the project teams by managing the documentation of key milestones, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date in the company's document management system (Egnyte).
  • Communicate effectively and provide quality customer service to staff, vendors,

contractors, and Owners.

  • Respond promptly to inquiries regarding closeouts, construction support, and related issues.
  • Maintains and adheres to ethical business practices.
  • Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.

Additional Needs:

  • Internship Project Experience Highly Desired.
  • Educational Background could be in Architecture, Construction Management or Finance.

Work Environment:

  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving machinery & mechanical parts, uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to loud noise, and outside weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

  • The physical requirements must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Intermittent unassisted sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, stooping, crawling, pushing and lifting is required. Must be able to walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time for at least eight hours per day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move light equipment up to 50 pounds without assistance. Must be alert to equipment in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, ability to walk on uneven ground while physically maneuvering construction sites, ability to work in extreme temperatures or humidity, and potentially work at heights.

Other Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid state of residence driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Daily travel to and from construction sites, generally within 100 miles from the home office is expected. Short term, out of town, assignments may be required. Long term, out of town, assignments may be required, with advance notice of planned dates.
  • May be required to work protracted and irregular hours to meet client's needs, including nights, overtime and weekends.
