Job Description
The law firm of Foster Garvey PC is seeking to hire a partner-level attorney with at least seven years of experience working with securities law and capital market transactions. This position will provide the attorney with an opportunity to work with the Firm’s small and large business clients on sophisticated transactions in a wide variety of industry sectors. The candidate will have the opportunity to work regularly with talented attorneys in a wide variety of practice areas across the Firm’s six offices.
Our diverse and dedicated team represents some of the country’s largest and most well-established public companies. This position is focused on navigating the complexities of public offerings, securities regulation, and corporate governance.
The ideal candidate possesses specific expertise in securities law and capital markets transactions, including public company reporting obligations, public securities offerings, SEC compliance, corporate governance requirements, and debt and equity market transactions.

The annualized salary range for this position is $200,000 to $325,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

- 7 years of securities law, capital markets transactions, public security offerings SEC compliance, corporate governance requirements, debt and equity market transactions, or related experience;
- A portable book of business is required;
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and license to practice law required;
- Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills;
- A client-service approach and exceptional communication skills;
- Enthusiasm to work as part of a diverse team or independently;
- The ability to manage significant individual responsibilities;
- The ability to work on and manage multiple projects at one time;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; and
- Responsive and professional service.
