Duties
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring that all items are secured for transport.
- Assist in the organization of packages within the warehouse and during deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks to move heavy items safely.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment.
- Support delivery drivers by navigating routes and ensuring timely arrivals at destinations.
- Handle returns and exchanges as needed, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with operating delivery vehicles such as box trucks or vans is a plus.
- Experience with loading/unloading procedures and using equipment like pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on specific job duties related to driving or assisting drivers.
