HOURS PER WEEK: Varies – Full Time
DAYS REQUIRED: Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays

Who You Are:
The grounds and facilities team at Hemlock Neversink sets the scene for smooth operations within all departments. Whether it’s tending to seasonal tasks to maintain the appearance of the grounds, assisting with punch list facilities requests, or setting up indoor and outdoor spaces for scheduled events, this is a hands-on role that is an integral part of the wider property team.
This role supports the Grounds & Facilities Manager by managing and maintaining the physical facilities and maintaining the grounds at Hemlock Neversink.
What You’ll Do:
- Respond to property team’s work orders and punch list items from quarterly walk throughs
- Repair and maintenance of the property, both interior and exterior
- Light carpentry and plumbing projects in property’s common areas and guest rooms
- Distributing firewood and maintaining fireplaces
- Pool and Lakeside maintenance, including checking pool chemical levels and overseeing seasonal fixes to dock dock area
- Be available on call to assist with emergency facilities issues
- Assist with movement to prepare for events or programming when needed
- Supporting the Facilities & Grounds Manager in coordinating and overseeing the work of outside vendors as required
- Managing costs & expenses
- Other duties and special projects as required

May need to travel between buildings year-round
Regular outside work in all weather conditions may be required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position can be physically demanding – standing, stooping, crouching, traveling between buildings outdoors, and performing repetitive tasks for a long period of time. Walking up and down stairs may be required. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
