Position Overview:
Your primary focus in this position will be to apply electrical engineering fundamentals while performing design tasks under the supervision of a lead engineer. In addition to developing detailed electrical design drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical software packages, you will also program PLC’s and HMI hardware, and assist with validation of the software and drawing databases. This position will also require you to complete an engineering-related project including the investigation, weighted review and overall evaluation of that technology or piece of equipment against current approaches in use today.
\n- Successful completion of 6 semesters in an ABET accredited electrical engineering program, with at least 50% core engineering coursework
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (please indicate on resume) and currently in good-standing
- Mid level AutoCAD training and functionality
- Theory and/or programming of industrial PLCs
