Foth is currently seeking a team-focused and results-oriented professional engineer with the desire to cultivate and advance municipal relationships from our Columbia, SC, location. - Lead technical engineering, quality assurance/control, and project management activities for municipal and county design and construction projects
- Support growth and development of the municipal market by creating statements of qualifications, proposals, and presentations; conducting contract negotiations; and participating in professional organizations, advertising, and tradeshows
- Serve as the client contact for multiple municipal and county clients
- Deliver projects within budget, schedule, and contractual commitments
- Negotiate change orders to the scope of work with the client and subcontractors
- Work closely with relevant permitting agencies
- Develop technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering designs
- Provide construction administration as needed
- Lead, coordinate, and build client teams
- Establish objectives and provide performance feedback for team members
- Participate in recruiting activities by attending professional networking events and college career fairs
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in South Carolina
- Minimum five years of experience managing projects and client relationships
- Minimum five years of experience working in the civil engineering consulting industry
- 10 years of experience planning, designing, and constructing public utility projects
