We are expanding our footprint in the U.S. Federal market and seek a driven Federal Sales Manager to lead and grow sales within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Civilian sectors.
Job Overview: As a Federal Sales Manager at Fotokite, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the U.S. DoD and Federal Civilian markets. You will leverage your deep understanding of federal procurement processes and your network to establish strong relationships with key government stakeholders, driving revenue growth for our UAS solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the DoD and Federal Civilian markets.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers, including contracting officers, program managers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Navigate federal procurement processes, including managing RFP responses and contract negotiations.
- Drive sales targets, delivering revenue growth and meeting company goals.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and technical teams to position Fotokite’s UAS solutions effectively.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and federal initiatives, advising internal teams on potential impacts.
- Represent Fotokite at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Qualifications:
- Proven success in federal sales, particularly within the DoD and Federal Civilian markets.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, including FAR, DFAR, and GSA Schedules.
- Established network of relationships within the U.S. government and defense contracting community.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Bachelors Degree or higher (Relevant work experience excepted as well)
- Familiarity with unmanned aerial systems (UAS) or related technology is a plus.
