Transaction Manager – Renewable Energy Finance
A growing leader in the clean energy sector is seeking a Transaction Manager to support and execute financial transactions related to project development, acquisitions, and financing activities. This role is ideal for a finance professional with experience in project finance, tax equity, and M&A transactions who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Management: Oversee and coordinate project finance, tax equity, and M&A transactions, ensuring alignment with company objectives and investor expectations.
- Due Diligence Coordination: Manage due diligence processes, collaborating with legal, financial, and technical teams to assess contracts, risks, and financial models.
- Financial Structuring & Analysis: Work closely with internal teams to structure financing solutions, including tax equity, debt financing, and capital investments.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between investors, lenders, legal counsel, and internal departments to drive transaction success.
- Contract Review & Negotiation: Assist in evaluating and negotiating key transaction documents, including purchase agreements, PPAs, and financing agreements.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices to enhance efficiency in deal execution.
- Risk Assessment: Analyze potential risks in transactions and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate financial, legal, and operational challenges.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Law, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in transaction management, project finance, investment banking, or corporate finance, ideally within renewable energy.
- Strong knowledge of tax equity financing, project finance, and M&A transactions in the energy sector.
- Proven track record of managing complex deal processes and working with investors, lenders, and legal teams.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools; familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce is a plus.
