What you'll do:
- Develop and implement engaging, interactive lessons aligned with program goals and state standards.
- Provide personalized academic support, differentiating instruction to meet individual student needs.
- Cultivate a positive, nurturing classroom environment that celebrates diversity and encourages growth.
- Integrate effective classroom management strategies to ensure a focused and productive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and create a positive team environment.
- Participate in program planning and professional development opportunities.
- Make a direct impact on the lives of young learners at a critical time in their academic journey.
- Contribute to a mission-driven organization committed to educational equity and social justice.

- Gain valuable experience in summer programming and curriculum development.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (required).
- New Jersey teaching certification for P-3 or K-6 (required)
- Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum standards.
- Prior experience teaching Elementary School preferred.
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of children.
- Culturally responsive teaching practices and experience working with diverse population's a plus.
