About the Role : $65,000 - $80000 (Includes Salary plus Commission)
As the BDC Director is responsible for managing the Business Development Center and the Internet leads daily. The BDC Director must work closely with the General Manager in ensuring all leads are properly dispersed throughout the sales department in a timely manner. Responsible for setting appointments with potential buyers to meet with sales representatives at the dealership.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proficiency with operating in a web base, networked, internet environment.
Exceptional leadership and lead management skills
Detailed orientated and persuasive
CRM or similar software experience
Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards
Experience in sales or business development
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Successful completion of pre-employment screening
Authorization to work in the USA
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
Experience in the automotive industry
Experience with DMS software
Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the BDC team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience and achieve company goals
Develop and implement a flexible sales process tailored to the needs and expectations of the Internet customer.
Monitor and measure the phone and internet traffic by following up with the Internet Representatives to ensure effectively maximizing all internet leads.
Increase the sales traffic by responding to inbound calls, making outbound sales calls such as (not limited to) internet lead responses, unsold internet showroom traffic and follow-up calls which produce specific appointments for the sales team.
Respond to customer inquiries with courtesy, accuracy and professionalism.
Understands the needs of the customer, developing a flexible sales process, drawing them into the store for vehicle demonstration and closing the transaction.
Supports the marketing initiatives of the dealership by relying on promotions by phone.
Checks systems frequently and respond to inquiries immediately; promptly and accurately enter all customer inquiry data into the CRM.
Effectively utilize lead management tools to maintain repeat and referral business.
Establish personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity in setting and confirming a volume of daily appointments, as well as devising a strategy to meet those goals.
Conduct business in a variety of traditional and non-traditional methods, such as email, telephone, in-person appointments, and others.
Develop and convey a high level of automotive product knowledge.
Ensures that store inventory, pictures, and status are updated daily.
Develop and enforce procedures to record and confirm all appointments for the sale and delivery of vehicles.
