Job Summary
Castle Rock CDJR is seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Foreman to oversee the Express (Quick Lube) Department. The Shop Foreman will manage daily operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality quick lube services (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, basic maintenance) for vehicles, with a focus on customer satisfaction and adherence to manufacturer standards for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles. The role utilizes Xtime for scheduling and customer management and Dealertrack for workflow and compliance tracking. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians, maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all Express Department operations, including scheduling, work assignment, and completion of quick lube services (e.g., oil changes, fluid top-offs, filter replacements).
- Supervise and train a team of technicians, ensuring adherence to CDJR manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
- Utilize Xtime to manage customer appointments, communicate service updates, and enhance customer experience.
- Leverage Dealertrack to track work orders, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with dealership processes and legal standards.
- Monitor service quality, perform quality checks, and address customer concerns or complaints promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment, complying with OSHA and ADA accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to meet departmental goals, optimize workflow, and reduce turnaround times.
- Ensure timely reporting of equipment needs, staff performance, and any workplace adjustments required for accessibility or accommodation.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on CDJR technical standards, Xtime, and Dealertrack enhancements.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive repair/maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a quick lube or express service setting.
- Proven experience with Xtime and Dealertrack or similar dealership management software.
