Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to oversee our Home Depot and Lowe’s accounts. This individual will be responsible for managing and growing these critical relationships while leading a team of 5-8 people. The ideal candidate will have experience in account management, sales, and team leadership within the building materials or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for Home Depot and Lowe’s, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and market share within these accounts.
Lead and mentor a team of 5-8 professionals, providing guidance, performance management, and support.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and supply chain, to ensure seamless service and product availability.
Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and account performance to identify growth opportunities.
Manage pricing, contracts, and negotiations to drive profitability and customer value.
Analyze sales data and key performance indicators to assess account health and team performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in building materials, hardware, or related industries.
Experience managing major retail accounts, such as Home Depot or Lowe’s, is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and team members.
Compensation
Base: $80,000-$90,000/Annually
Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, education, training, and/or experience.
