Accounts Receivable Specialists are a dynamic group of individuals that are capable of multi-tasking while ensuring that the company receives payment for goods and services offered to clients in accordance with company policy & procedures, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction to both external and internal customers. Key Responsibilities
Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable from ACH, Branch Deposit, Credit Card, Lock Boxes, and Wire transfers.
Use 3rd party High Radius Cash Application payment platform.
Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested.
Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Credit Managers and other staff.
Collaborates with the Credit Managers to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis.
Assists Accounting and Treasury Managers in reconciling accounts every month.
Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
Relays changes of information to appropriate employees.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software and accounting software programs.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred.
At least one year of related experience preferred.
Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
After receipt of conditional offer of employment, must be able to pass drug screen/physical/background check.
