Remote Work:
Identity and Access Management (IAM) Administrator Description & Duties:
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Administrator is responsible for policy improvement, protecting the Company’s security infrastructure, and ensuring that the Company is aware of the latest trending cyber-attacks relating to Access Management. The role of an IAM Administrator is to work with various departments within the organization to help drive access control initiatives in support of internal policies, regulatory compliance, and industry standards while working closely with cybersecurity groups to design and implement access controls across all systems in support of IT and cybersecurity strategies.
Pay Range: USD $85,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr. Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders, internal customers, and application teams to understand access requirements and ensure that the right people have access to the right resources with least-privilege being a focus.
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration and troubleshooting of the IAM system(s) and to maintain documentation for the IAM program audits/reviews of policies, standards and procedures.
- Participate in IAM projects and initiatives to improve and/or move the organization toward a more automated solution.
- Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.
- Update and maintain the IAM system according to changes in the organization’s business needs, as well as provide training to new users on the IAM system.
- Create a matrix of user roles and access needs to effectively grant/remove access for users and/or systems, administer user accounts and access privileges in the identity management system(s).
- Provide reporting on identity and access management system activity and develop IAM metrics and KPIs to track progress and measure success.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of identity and access management best practices.
- Provide clear and concise reports to management on the status of IAM within the organization while being able to understand and articulate the company’s AIM strategy.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in computer science or information security and at least two years of experience in identity and access management or a related field OR combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication and project administration skills.
- Familiarity with IAM concepts and best practices.
- Knowledge of IAM software, such as Microsoft Active Directory.
- Familiarity with database concepts and relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Design software.
