Information Security Analyst Description & Duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist with the design, development, and testing of all layers of the cyber/physical security program via policy or security focused applications that are built/deployed.
- Work efficiently with internal and external clients, providing a high level of service and using sound judgement when making or influencing the decisions of others.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities, conduct regular security testing, and monitor the organization’s networks for security breaches, investigating a violation when one occurs.
- Install and use software, such as firewall, EDR, GRC, and data encryption to protect sensitive information, protecting operations by keeping all information confidential.
- Prepare reports that document security breaches and the extent of the damage caused by potential/actual breaches.
- Partner with vendor(s) to conduct penetration testing to look for vulnerabilities in systems before they can be exploited.
- Research the latest information technology (IT) security trends and collaborate on the identification/refinement of processes to develop security standards and best practices for the organization.
- Assist users with installing and learning about new security products and procedures, as well as recommending security enhancements to management and Executive staff.
- Take ownership in building your professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field OR 2 years of relevant IT cyber security experience in a financial industry environment OR combination of education and experience.
Certifications are a plus.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software and Design software.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
