Senior Human Resources Manager Description & Duties:
The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing strategic initiatives to support the growth projections of Foundation Finance Company. This role provides guidance in developing workforce management initiatives for the company, overseeing escalated employee relations activities, recruiting efforts, maintaining adherence with labor laws, and regulations.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Annually review/update the compensation program; rewrite job descriptions as necessary; conduct annual salary surveys; analyze compensation; monitor the performance evaluation program and revise as necessary.
- Develop, recommend, implement and maintain personnel/HR policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures, handle annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee and handle escalated employee relations issues/investigations/disputes, questions related to HR programs/policies/procedures, and the progressive discipline policy and related documentation procedures.
- Provide guidance and insight to the recruiting team on passive and active recruiting strategies, ensuring compliance with recruitment practices.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Manage PEO relationship handling annual renewal contracts, data reporting, and filing mandatory annual reports.
- Collaborate with management on developing department goals and objectives, develop and monitor career-path program, professional development, and employee relations counseling.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment laws; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policies, practices, and resources to the executive team.
- Develop strategic initiatives for workforce planning, department restructuring, and development/achievement of growth projections and retention strategies.
- Responsible for overseeing all HR functions/teams, providing HR metrics to the executive team, and for the growth and development of the HR department.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Pay Range
USD $97,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
Master’s degree a plus.
Minimum 5 years related experience in human resources, 3 years of experience in a human resources management role.
SHRM/PHR certification required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer).
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
