Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$82,000.00 / yr - $90,000.00 / yrPosition OverviewFACE seeks a passionate and strategic Hawaii Program Director to lead and grow its O‘ahu-based programs. This role will oversee partnerships with veterinary clinics, lead fundraising efforts in Hawaii, community outreach and education efforts, and analyze service delivery to ensure equitable access to emergency veterinary care for low-income families. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, a polished and media savvy speaker, and a person who thrives in a startup environment. Professional experience must demonstrate strong program management, community engagement, and organizational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership and DevelopmentBuild and maintain partnerships with Oahu-based veterinary hospitals, securing discounted services to expand FACE's reach.Conduct outreach, education, and community events to raise awareness about FACE’s mission and services.Analyze demographic data to identify gaps in service for underrepresented populations and ensure equitable access to veterinary care.Engage local media and build relationships with corporate and civic partners to increase community awareness of the mission.Operational ManagementReview and approve financial support requests from pet owners unable to afford the full cost of lifesaving veterinary care.Collaborate with staff to review veterinary partner surveys, address barriers, and improve service delivery.Community EngagementAct as FACE's representative in Hawaii, strengthening relationships with veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, community partners, and stakeholders.Develop and implement strategies to increase FACE’s visibility and impact in Oahu communities.Fundraising and SustainabilitySupport diversified funding efforts by assisting with donor cultivation, corporate sponsorships, grant applications, and annual fundraising events.Leverage partnerships with local veterinary clinics to offset costs and maximize FACE’s impact.QualificationsRequired : Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, animal welfare, public health, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, community outreach, or nonprofit leadership.Demonstrated ability to build and nurture partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse communities.
