The Print & Digital Accessibility Specialist works as a member of the Media Center Team performing a variety of Large Print and/or Braille production activities. This position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., based at our Central Campus in Phoenix. Job duties include:
- Scan print materials into digital files and archive for master production either for large print or Braille.
- Produce and bind large print materials from master digital files.
- Produce e-file versions of print books.
- Maintains appropriate records of work orders from clients.
- Responsible for maintenance of production and binding equipment.
- Responsible for maintenance of large print recreational library collection.
- Responsible for monitoring mail traffic and maintaining mail metering equipment.
- Perform a variety of duties in the production, duplication and binding of Braille materials.
- Assist in the production of media jobs for other FBC departments as requested.
- Assist with Media Center function performed by others on as needed basis.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- High school diploma
- Ability to learn new technology
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Ability to collaborate and work well with a team
- Arizona fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain within 90 days
