Job Summary
We are seeking a Program Manager to join our team! As the Program Manager you will be over the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Skill Building programs. It will be your responsibility to coordinate and conduct assessments, groups, manage a team of QMHP's identify gaps and services that can benefit client well being. It will be your responsibility to create a plan of action to allow individuals to manage there sobriety and mental health. The ideal candidate has a compassionate attitude, experience working with people in need, and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide Substance Abuse Assessment for adult men and women, May lead individual Substance Abuse groups
- Provide outpatient counseling to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families on an individual and/or group basis
- Refer and link clients with additional services and or community resources when clinically indicated
- Work with persons with serious mental, emotional, and/or behavioral disorders, including substance use and/or co occurring disorders
Qualifications
- *State of Virginia certification as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) certified
- QMHP A & C certification
- Active counseling license to practice independently
- 1 year of direct experience providing assessment and/or counseling services to individuals with a substance use disorder
- Possess strong clinical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation congruent with organization guidelines, best practice standards of his/her profession, and managed care standards
- Must provide and maintain current malpractice insurance with standard recommended limits
- Must undergo a background check
