Foundation for Care is looking for a highly motivated and coachable candidate to manage our ID/DD adult group home. The residential group home manager oversees the daily operations of the group home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents while managing staff and complying with regulations. They are responsible for training, supervising staff, developing budgets, and implementing policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities of a Residential Group Home Manager:
- Operational Management:
- Manage the overall operation of the group home, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Staff Management:
- Hire, train, supervise, and schedule staff, including direct care staff.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and maintain budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability.
- Resident Care and Support:
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents, monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to resident care, staff performance, and facility operations.
- Policy and Procedure Development:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective group home operations.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Participate in team meetings, communicate effectively with residents, families, and other stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years of management experience working directly in the human services field with Individuals who have Intellectual Disabilities or other developmental disabilities and holds at High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have experience in the human services field or equivalent experience.
Salary : $18 - $20
