About Us:
The Foundation for Hispanic Education provides after-school programs that inspire and support students in a safe, enriching environment.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an organized and motivated Program Coordinator to help manage our high school after-school programs. You’ll work closely with the After-School Director to keep everything running smoothly, support students, promote our programs and meet with parents and staff to ensure the program’s goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help plan and organize after-school activities like academic support, enrichment programs, and recreation.
- Supervise students to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Work with instructors and staff to deliver activities and meet staffing needs.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff.
- Assist with logistics like scheduling, attendance tracking, and supply management.
- Keep records of attendance and program results.
- Provide administrative support to the After-School Director.
Qualifications:
- Currently in college or recently graduated (preferably in education or a related field).
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to different school locations.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with STEAM programs, graphic design, or marketing.
Personal Qualities:
- Enthusiastic about working with high school students.
- Patient, adaptable, and a problem-solver.
Working Hours:
- After-school hours, 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, with occasional evenings or weekends for events.

Pay:
$25-$34 per hour
