We are seeking qualified a Laboratory Technician to perform laboratory tests, operate diagnostic equipment, and ensure results for patient samples. The technician will adhere to all laboratory protocols, quality assurance standards, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sample preparation, testing, labeling, organization of materials, and documentation. Follows standard procedures when conducting laboratory tests and analyses on biological samples.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Assists with inventory management of lab supplies and materials.
  • Accurately record and analyze test results, ensuring compliance with laboratory guidelines. Maintains proper documentation, including patient records, test results, and quality control logs. Supports quality control and R&D teams with documentation and reporting.
  • Handle, clean, and maintain labs. Disposes of specimens and hazardous materials according to safety regulations. Follows established safety and quality control protocols to maintain a sterile and secure work environment.
  • Assist in the validation and implementation of new laboratory methods and procedures.
  • Collaborate with laboratory personnel and healthcare professionals to ensure timely communication of test results.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or other related field.
  • MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) license required.
  • Basic knowledge of medical diagnostic equipment, testing procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of CLIA, and FDA regulations is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow standardized procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
