Event Coordinator (Part-Time)

Reports To : Senior Director, Planning Outreach
The Foundation for Teaching Economics (FTE) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to support our mission of delivering transformative educational and professional development programs for high school teachers and students nationwide. This role focuses on the planning and marketing of FTE’s flagship program, Economics for Leaders , which equips future leaders with essential economic insights.

Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Logistics
- Venue Coordination : Manage contracts and arrangements with university partners, including booking dorms, meeting spaces, food services, AV equipment, and campus access for participants.
- Excursions : Plan off-site field trips in various cities, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule while collaborating with on-site staff.
- Budget Management : Assist in preparing and tracking event budgets, process invoices and check requests, and provide progress reports to staff.
- Program Support : Oversee various program logistics and provide administrative support as needed.
