The Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) is seeking a Project Manager for Science Partnerships, Translational Science Rare Diseases Team to manage a large, multistakeholder public-private research collaborations focused on Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) Gene Therapy across multiple rare diseases. Our research partnerships are made up of leading experts in the field from biopharmaceutical companies, healthcare not-for-profit and patient advocacy organizations, government agencies, and academic institutions. Work will be conducted under the supervision of the Program Manager of rare diseases in a hybrid work environment, including virtual and at the FNIH offices located in North Bethesda, Maryland.
This is a non-research, administrative management position requiring a can-do attitude, excellent interpersonal and writing skills, a high level of organization, diplomacy, focus, and the ability to work under tight deadlines with strong personal and collaborative acumen in diverse and complex biomedical research environments. A background in cell and gene therapies, rare diseases, and/or managing drug development projects is preferred. The Project Manager will provide leadership in management of all aspects of the partnership.
