Position Summary
As a Clinical Supervisor at Foundation House, you will play a vital role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing the integrity of Foundation House’s clinical programming. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations for PHP, IOP, and OP levels of care, providing supervision to clinical staff, and acting as a primary liaison with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in all aspects of Foundation House’s Tradecraft12 clinical programming.
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to organizational standards.
- Oversee and ensure documentation in the EMR system is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with billing and licensing requirements.
- Maintain a caseload and maintain regular collaboration with client stakeholders (educational consultants, primary treatment programs, family members).
- Assist with weekly client house clean.
- Spend time in residences with clients to develop relationships and awareness of all clients’ needs and issues.
- Provide on-call coverage as needed.
- Manage new client intake plans, collaborating with the Medical Director and Registered Nurse to assess psychiatric acuity and medication needs.
- Create programming tailored to the needs of clients and clinical staff.
- Monitor the flow of clinical operations and programming to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Provide clinical guidance related to sober living, education, employment, volunteering, family dynamics, and legal/probation matters.
- Ensure clients adhere to program rules and expectations and support transitional planning well ahead of discharge.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing and accreditation requirements.
- Other duties as assigned by the CEO.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, behavioral health, psychology, or a related field.
- Valid licensure in the state of Maine or 5 years of licensure in another state with the ability to obtain Maine Licensure.
- Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) certification required (in addition to mental health licensure).
- Proven experience in substance abuse treatment or mental health services.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a substance abuse or mental health treatment setting.
- Eligibility for a National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and clients.
- Familiarity with recovery industry trends and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
- Creativity and the ability to develop innovative programming.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
