What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at Foundation Laboratory?
We are seeking to hire a Part Time and Temporary Part Time (floaters) Phlebotomists in Salinas.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and store blood samples from patients
- Monitor storage and inventory of supplies
- Maintain clean and healthy work environment
- Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Applicant must have a current, valid CPT1 License issued by California Department of Public Health.
- Must have minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
- Experience is pediatrics required.
- Previous experience in phlebotomy is preferred.
- Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Strong organizational skills
