Front-End Web Designer
Foundation Software is looking for a Front-End Web Designer to join our marketing team with a focus on building and maintaining WordPress-based websites across multiple product brands. This is a hybrid position based at our corporate campus in Strongsville, Ohio.
In this role, you'll be responsible for creating visually engaging, high-performing and user-friendly pages that support our marketing initiatives. You'll work closely with our Webmaster to integrate front-end components into a well-structured site architecture. Additionally, you'll collaborate with our project management, design, content and digital teams to bring campaigns to life, enhance user engagement and increase marketing conversions.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain and optimize responsive WordPress pages and templates that align with brand design guides.
- Customize and enhance WordPress themes and plugins to meet marketing needs.
- Design and create wireframes concepts for new webpage formats.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, project managers, designers and the content team to ensure seamless implementation of UI / UX designs.
- Collaborate with the Webmaster to integrate front-end elements with back-end functionality.
- Optimize web pages for SEO, performance and accessibility best practices.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across multiple brand websites.
- Utilize Git / GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends, front-end technologies and digital marketing best practices.
