SOCIAL WORKER/COUNSELOR

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) , LMSW with provided supervision, or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)/LPCA to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals/families, focusing on behavioral health and wellness. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions in a supportive environment.

Job Location: Either Goose Creek or Hanahan

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs.
• Provide individual and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that address clients' specific goals and challenges.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay informed about current best practices in behavioral therapy and mental health treatment.

Skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to mental health care.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy.
• Experience in behavioral therapy techniques and approaches.
• Ability to conduct effective individual and family counseling sessions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear documentation and client interaction.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help clients improve their mental well-being.
