Job Description:
Foundations Family Counseling is a small private counseling practice with two locations in Worthington and Dublin. We are seeking a highly professional person to fill an Office Manager position at our Dublin location. The hours for this position are Monday through Thursday.
Job Duties Include:
- Open the office each morning and make preparations for the arrival of the clinicians and clients
- Maintain a calm, relaxing, and professional office atmosphere
- Keep all common areas of the office clean and inviting
- Answer the phone and relay important messages to the clinicians
- Assist new clients in scheduling an initial therapy session
- Collect and post payments, schedule appointments, prepare charts, verify insurance benefits, and obtain necessary authorizations
- Anticipate clinicians’ needs and perform various administrative tasks
- Effectively communicate with the Practice Manager frequently about daily finances, insurance claims, weekly/monthly tasks, office supplies, etc.
- Work with the Community Outreach Manager to create marketing materials for groups, monthly staff calendars, inter-office communications, etc.
- Protect clients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
- Perform other general office duties such as mailing, faxing, copying, etc.
