CHAP accredited hospice company looking for registered nurse who will plan, organize and coordinate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to care for patients in the field. QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational/Degree: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Training/Licensure: Currently licensed as a registered nurse to practice in the state without restrictions.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability: Ability to work independently, make accurate, and at times, quick judgments. Ability to respond appropriately to crisis outside of a hospital setting. Acceptance of and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural and religious modes. Completes Hospice training as required.
Schedule is 7 days on (4:30 pm to 8:30 am) and 7 off. Our service area is Slidell to Baton Rouge.
Pay starting at $70,000 annual salary based on experience. Additional pay available for optional visits on the 7 days off.
EXPERIENCE:
Two years experience in one of the following: hospice, home health, oncology or med surg.
Nursing: Two years of med surg, oncology or home health
