What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Laborer position at Foundations LLC?
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Foundation Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete for foundations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic in various outdoor conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of job sites, including setting up forms, rebar, and other reinforcements for concrete foundations.
- Ensure proper leveling, smoothing, and finishing of concrete surfaces.
- Operate and maintain tools such as screeds, trowels, floats, and concrete vibrators.
- Monitor curing process and apply finishing treatments as required.
- Perform general labor duties, including site cleanup, material handling, and assisting other crew members.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures to prevent workplace injuries.
- Work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in concrete work, construction, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate power tools and construction equipment safely.
- Basic understanding of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
- Strong physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs or more).
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
