Summary: In this role you will be required to treat pediatric clients in need of speech therapy.
Essential Duties:
- Provide speech therapy services to pediatric clients
- Provide parent education regarding plans of care, home/school recommendations, and goal achievement
- Perform screenings, evaluations, reassessments, and progress notes
- Perform clinical documentation for all sessions
- Collaborate with team members (PTs, OTs, COTAs, & STs) regularly regarding clients to ensure quality of care
- Collaborate with administration
- Maintenance of clinical materials and equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA practices to maintain client confidentiality
Qualifications:
- SLP- MS/MA Speech Language Pathology, ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP); Registered/Licensed in TX
- Experience in pediatrics
- Preferred experience in DIR/Floortime approach, willing to train
- Preferred experience with oral motor and feeding concerns
