What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Classroom Aide position at Foundations Preschool of Washtenaw County?

Foundations Preschool is looking for reliable and energetic assistants to help in our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.
Aides are instrumental in helping to help our school run by ensuring the proper functioning and safety of the program. They happily engage with children, assist in the classroom where needed, and provide program maintenance throughout the building and grounds.
There will be times that an aide may be requested as a substitute and earlier in the day if they are available.
This hands-on role is instrumental in ensuring program compliance and providing necessary support to the teachers and children. Substituting in the absence of a teacher is also a part of the role if the aide is available for a full day.
We are looking for people who are available:
- M-F 12:00 pm - 6 pm ( approx. 30 hours per week)

Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
- A negative TB test will be required
- Must be willing to be or is CPR certified
