Roles and Responsibilities: Foundations Preschool teachers are a teaching team of two who create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment following the HighScope curriculum. Together they implement an active learning approach by fostering child creativity, confidence, and independence.
Together, they:
· Inspire children and teachers alike to learn and grow.
· Are passionate about educational excellence, and confident in teaching children.
· Use our researched based curriculum (High Scope) as a framework to create unique and engaging classroom experiences.
· Are committed to making their center successful and know that meaningful relationships with children, families, and their team are important to success.
· Are fully engaged, enthusiastic about their work, and eager to share their knowledge with others.
Qualifications:
- CDA with experience in a preschool/childcare setting; OR
- At least 2 years of experience in a preschool/childcare setting with a compliance plan upon hire to receive a CDA within 2 years; AND
- Is passionate about educational excellence, and confident working with children and families; AND
- Is committed to making the center successful and knows that meaningful relationships with children, families, and their team are important to success; AND
- Will fully engage and be enthusiastic about their work.
The salary range is $16 - $20.50/hour.
The position is full-time/full-year and includes EXCELLENT benefits (including fully paid medical/dental) and generous Paid Time Off.
