What you’ll Do
As a valued member of our team, you will be tasked with providing tax services to our client base. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Calculating gains & losses for cryptocurrency mining, staking, trading, and DeFi transactions for both individuals and companies
- Collaborate with the accounting services team to provide monthly crypto journal entries and tax entries for crypto business clients
- Assist our tax team with the preparation & review of corporate 1120 tax returns
- Assist our tax team with the preparation & review of partnership 1065 tax returns
- Assist our tax team with the preparation & review of s-corporation 1120S tax returns
- Assist our tax team with the preparation & review of individual 1040 tax returns & Schedule C
- Crypto tax research and planning projects
- Assist leadership with crypto marketing and sales activities
Who You Are
The ideal candidate exhibits the following skills and/or characteristics:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar field
- 2 years in a client service tax role
- Keen attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Natural curiosity and a strong desire to learn new skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Gathers and analyzes information skillfully
- Professionalism and commitment to exceptional communication and client service
- Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn new systems
- Experience with cryptocurrency tax topics is required
- Experience with crypto tax reconciliation software & explorers such as Cointracking.info, Etherscan, etc.
- Strong spreadsheet skills for organizing and manipulating data
- Experience with utilizing APIs and data programming languages to extract on-chain data for analysis
- Experience with Quickbooks Online, ProConnect, CCH Axcess is preferred
- CPA is preferred but not required
- Experience in tax research using Bloomberg research tools is a plus

Compensation
This position is for immediate hire, paid commensurate with the candidate's experience. Our target range for the role is 75k-110k. The position also includes benefit offerings such as medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, and commuter benefits.
