We are looking to add a Part Time Leasing Specialist to our Founders 3 Team. As a Leasing Specialist you will provide superb customer service to residents/owners, vendors and prospects while maintaining positive resident relations of multi-family residential apartments. You are also responsible for the leasing and marketing of the property. As a key team member representing the property, you will work closely with the Property Manager and Maintenance staff. This position is scheduled for 24 hours per week. The schedule will be determined with successful candidate. Preference is for 3 - 8 hour shifts per week. Saturday shifts twice a month from March through September will be required.

Office open: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday but need to be willing to adjust to occasional Saturday/Sunday 1-2 times per month or when needed.

Other Key Responsibilities Include
- Greet and qualify prospective residents/prospects and ask questions to cover all qualifying criteria, track and follow up on all inquiries.
- Show the community and apartment/model and apply product knowledge to clients’ needs by communicating the features and benefits; close the sale.
- Update availability report and process applications for approvals. (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.) Submit processed applications to the Property Manager for approval. Follow up with applicant regarding status.
- Ensure apartment is ready for resident to move-in on agreed date.
- Assist in monitoring renewals. Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices.
- Participate in outreach marketing activities on a regular basis to obtain prospective residents, conduct market surveys and shop competitive communities.
- Maintain accurate monthly commission records on leases and renewals for bonus purposes.
- Assist in planning resident functions. Attend functions and participate as host for any functions as directed by the Property Manager.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service background required; real estate and/or leasing experience required as well.
- Strong word processing and familiarity with spreadsheet software (Excel). Yardi knowledge a plus
- Exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written – and basic knowledge of accounting, finance and business math are required. Excellent client service, sales and relationship development skills.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
