SUMMARY:
The Taproom Manager is responsible for the management of all daily taproom operations and staff, assuring that the operation abides by the company’s standards and mission.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage day-to-day taproom operations with primary focuses on the following:
- Customer service standards
- Staff accountability
- Company policy and mission adherence
- Cost controls
- Sales-building strategies
- Daily receipts, deposits, tip-share and cash management
- Oversee multiple assigned focus areas as needed by the department:
- Staffing and recruiting
- Scheduling and training
- Maintenance and repair
- Sanitation and cleanliness
- Quality control
- Entertainment and events integration
- Product rotation and availability
- Communications (both internal and external)
- Mug Club
- Willingness to assist and support other managers in their focus areas.
- Lead by example at all times, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Proactively assist both staff members and customers with questions.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge of Founders’ culture, products, and the Taproom layout and be able to effectively communicate that information to our customers.
- Treat customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect.
- Maintain a safe work environment according to federal and state regulations.
- Take initiative to help any area of the Taproom whenever possible.
- Other duties may be assigned.
